more thoughts on sleep

I've discovered lately that my body seems to actually require 10 hours of sleep, as opposed to the standard 8 hours we believe the average person needs, and the 6-7 hours I often give it.
I don't know if it's just a 10 hour requirement for the winter, or if it's a year round thing; I'll have to keep taking notes. However, it doesn't seem to matter if I wake up once or twice during the night, as long as I get those 10 hours. It may mean that I have to reprioritize some things in my schedule (although I still don't know how I'm going to manage Tuesday nights/Wednesday mornings any differently) to make sure that I'm actually allowing myself to get enough sleep.
