It all started with this post by lykofos.

The birth control method that I had previously seen on a Dr Bronner's peppermint soap label seems to not be on the current label. However, I found a website listing the text of the peppermint soap label before the hemp was added to the formula. It mentions this somewhat questionable birth control method:
