I got the dreads to work

And now I'm going to take a shower & wash some of the glue out. I'd sleep with them in, but they're kinda crunchy & I wouldn't want to break off any locks of hair during the night.

I'm still sick. Have been for a few days, and now my voice is totally gone & I'm pretty sure that thing I just coughed up was alive. Ick.

Nexus thinks I should call work & tell them that I can't come in (and how do you propose that I do that with no voice, dear?), but since I was in there for a few minutes last night, all dressed up for the party & buying water bottles, I don't think I can claim that I'm too sick to work. They know I was out last night, so it would look pretty bad.

I guess I'll just go in & work. If they decide to send me home on their own, they can. Otherwise, I'll just work my shift.
