I just got my new issue of Woman's Day magazine in the mail, and something seemed strangely familiar about it. I had a strong sense of deja vu. So I looked though my boxes of magazines & looked through them until I found the issue I was looking for.
Now... the new issue is the Sept. 1, 2002 issue. The cover shows a plate of pasta primavera with shrimp on a white plate, fork on the left, against a background of red tomatoes. Articles mentioned on the cover: Special Section: Back-To-School Time. 25 Ways To Save On Groceries. Foods That Help You Lose. 28 Clutter Busters. Also, the cover mentions free recipe cards inside the issue.
Let's take a look at the old issue I found...
The date: Sept 1, 2001.
The cover: a plate of pasta primavera with shrimp on a white plate, fork on the left, against a background of red tomatoes.
Articles mentioned: Save Big On Groceries. 22 Ways To Organize. Lose Weight For Good. Special Section: It's Back to School Time.
Recipe cards?: Why, lo and behold! This issue has recipe cards too!
See anything funny about this?
Why am I paying for a magazine subscription if they're just reprinting the same issues each year??
