ldyicefire got up and turned on the new heater at the end of the hall. A minute later, ALL of the smoke alarms went off, terrifying the cats and waking poor Munchkin.
It may not have been anything more than the new heater burning off dust for the first time, but I'd rather we didn't turn it on again until the landlord looks at it.
