random thoughts for the day

spiderdust:The new kitten seems to have a death wish. Either that or he's got balls of iron. (Hopefully not the latter, or that's going to make getting him fixed difficult). He'll walk up and drink out of Samantha's water dish, right in front of her!
:3 year olds should take naps when their mommies tell them to. If they don't, they shouldn't have meltdowns later in the afternoon.
:Finding Hot Tamales on sale 3/$1 is tres cool.
:The cornbread topped chili I made for dinner wasn't completely successful, but went over well enough that I think I may try it again sometime.
:I wonder if I should just accept the fact that my hair wants to be dreadlocks.
:How does all this stuff get piled up around my computer?!?!
:Hmm, this Peter Gabriel song I'm listening to is pretty complex. Lots of sound layering. I think I like it.
:Does anyone even read these things? Ok, I know 3 people who do, but is that it?
:I sure do take an awful lot of quizzes. I should be writing something profound and meaningful, but instead I sit in front of my computer and take quizzes, download mp3s by obscure Chinese trip-hop artists, and play with virtual bubble wrap.

Well, slap a dish on my head and call me a beagle!
This next one is interesting, considering how drawn I am to water...
I took the Inner Dragon online quiz and found out I am a Blue Dragon on the inside. If there ever was a draconic example of a supple attitude, my Inner Dragon is it. Blues are the Water Elemental dragon - typified by their Steam breath weapon. Pretty creative, huh? It goes right along with my Inner Dragon's tendency to maim, but not destroy. Much like my native oceans and rivers will deform the rock over time, eventually wearing it away to nothing.
Humans shouldn't make the mistake of thinking I'm weak, however. After all I'm a good 30 feet in length and have a penchant for materializing out of any body of water, no matter how small. I also enjoy communicating with aquatic life-forms, hunting in totally inhospitable terrain (i.e. 3000 feet below the waves), and using my fluid nature to my advantage. My enemies probably won't even see me approach in the first place. My favorable attributes are the sunset, Autumn, water, compassion, intuition, and calmness. Naturally, I pity the fool who'd try and prove that calmness part, he'd probably wind up being scalded. *small grin*
:How can Empire Records be such a horribly written movie, but still be so good?
:I missed Enterprise tonight. I hope it was a rerun that I had seen already.
