went to the ER last night
Dec. 21st, 2004 11:05 amLast night, we ended up in the ER until 3am. Not for me, though; for
ldyicefire.
Around 10:30, she began to feel dizzy, turned grey, had difficulty breathing, and had some tightness in her chest. She also seemed very distant and detached, and couldn't form complete sentences.
punkmom loaded us into her car and we went to Stanford Hospital (which has probably one of the most useless ER security guards I've ever run across; absolutely no understanding about how to deal with patients and their families).
She got a bed fairly quickly, and she seemed to improve after they gave her some oxygen, but they couldn't figure out what had happened. Since she was ok a few hours later, they sent us home.
Today, other than suffering from lack of sleep, she seems all right. We still don't know what happened.
