I've got my thumbhole sweatshirt on & am making myself a big mug of tomato boullion.
Today we went to 99 Ranch Market. Got some instant pho broth for my brother, since he just can't get decent Vietnamese food in Utah. We also got him some dried lemongrass, some dried galangal, some rice stick noodles, and a big bowl (pho bowls are huge) & spoon so he can enjoy a real pho experience. We also got a few things for ourselves: dried shiitake mushrooms, 5 spice powder, star anise, rice vinegar, shiitake mushroom flavored soy sauce, curry beef jerky, Sriracha chili sauce, a daikon radish, some big packs of tofu, a tiny plastic rice bowl for the Munchkin (a bribe to get her to behave in the store), and some Hello Kitty good luck money envelopes.
99 Ranch was extremely busy today. I think we went too late in the day & too close to the Lunar New Year to have a relaxing shopping experience.
