dinner and a movie

iceblink. She picked me up from work & we went out to eat pho. I had been wanting to get some lately, but had never had it before, so it was nice to have someone who had eaten it before to help me order. Even without the noodles, it was very flavorful and satisfying soup.
After dinner, we went to Campbell to see the midnight showing of Pretty In Pink. It was my first time seeing it; I missed out on a lot of 80s teen movies.iceblink has vowed that she's going to show me all of these movies someday, so we had been looking forward to seeing this one on the big screen. She got one of the trivia questions right & won a copy of Better Off Dead. She already had a copy of it, so she gave it to me (hey, another 80s movie to cross off of the list!).
It was a great night that ended too soon. :)
