more showering!
Jun. 9th, 2003 01:43 pmThis time my sweetie
rmjwell asked the questions:
1. What got you interested in vampires and goth stuff?
I'm not sure, really. I didn't set out to be goth, per se, just one day I discovered that's what it was called. I liked the music, I wore a lot of black because I liked the contrast between my dark hair and the dark clothing and my pale skin. I wore more dramatic makeup because I thought it made me look more striking.
(This said while I'm sitting here in a purple sweatshirt, green shorts, face bare of makeup.)
Vampirism was a little different. I thought the act of the blood drinking sounded extremely intimate. I imagine there was a bit of dominance/submission thrown in there as well.
Two seperate interests, both happen to get lumped together a lot. :)
2. What are your comfort foods?
These days, things like vanilla coffee with a lot of cream, Atkins Endulge mint wafer bars, really good cheeses, hickory smoked almonds, salads from Wendy's (minus the croutons), strawberries with cream & a shot of DaVinci's sugar free vanilla syrup, apples fried in butter with a shot of DaVinci's sugar free caramel syrup and maybe a little cinnamon.
3. Aside from stalker-boy, what has been your worst relationship experience?
That would be the first husband. There were police and hospital visits and bruises involved.
4. Who's your favorite erotica writer?
I don't have a favorite, but Patrick Callifa, Tanith Lee, and Cecilia Tan come to mind.
5. What do you like about working at TJs?
The employee discount, the fact that I don't have to wear "business attire" and can dye my hair any strange color I want without violating the company dress code, and the oppotunity it gives me to learn more about food & wine in general.
Oh, and the middle-of-the-day "wine tastings". ;)
