something's not right here
Jul. 22nd, 2004 09:26 pmI've been experiencing some mild heart palpitations over the past few months. I was semi-concerned when I first noticed them, but I was also using my albuterol inhaler a good bit at the time, so I guessed they might be side effects from the albuterol. They went away for a while, so I stopped worrying.
Lately, they've come back. Today I've been getting them even when I'm sitting down, and they're the "my heart is skipping beats & I'm feeling dizzy" sort.
So, it looks like I'm calling the doctor tomorrow and making an appointment. I know that sometimes this sort of thing can be caused by electrolyte imbalances, and that I've probably been mildly dehydrated lately, but still... I don't like feeling like I'm going to keel over of a heart attack while I'm sitting on the couch & reading a book.
