I may have been to Minnesota, but I can't remember. If I've been there, I was only 5 at the time.

I have a bit of whiplash today from a run-in with another car last night (don't worry; both cars are ok, and both drivers seemed to be perfectly fine). I'm kinda wondering how I'm going to deal with it at work, since it hurts around my neck, shoulders, and under my right shoulder blade.

I had another HORRIBLE recurring nightmare regarding CPS coming to take Munchkin away for no other reasons than because she's homeschooled & living in a weird family.

I had a co-worker nearly kill me yesterday. Yes, I mean that literally. Someone decided the demo people needed to serve some salad with walnuts and gorgonzola because it wasn't moving. Nevermind that it wasn't on the menu, nevermind that I'm severely allergic to walnuts & they know this. I hid away in the back room, cleaning the oven, because I couldn't be in the front while they were serving walnuts & getting walnut dust all over the place.

Now as you may or may not know, oven cleaning creates some unpleasant fumes all on its own, even if you're not using Easy-Off oven cleaner & are using Simple Green instead (which I was... I've been asthmatic enough lately that it seemed like a good idea to use a less caustic product). Even in a well ventilated room, I was still doing my share of coughing.

The co-worker came into the back room & dumped a bunch of walnut debris into the trash can right behind me. Up flies the walnut dust. Instant asthma attack for me. I had enough time to run out of the room & use my inhaler before my vision got too grey. (I wasn't sure if the inhaler would be enough, but it seemed to work. It was the 1st thing I thought of in my panic.) I sat on a stack of grocery bags & tried to get my breathing back to normal, surrounded by two very frightened co-workers and two very concerned managers.

Needless to say, they stopped serving the salad. They also took the trash out of the building, washed all of the dishes that had been used while they were serving nuts, and wiped down the entire demo area while I sat there.

So, I'm a little out of sorts today.
