not much to say

I haven't posted anything for a few days because I don't have much to say.

I haven't been chatting with anyone online lately because I don't know what to say; carrying on a conversation hasn't always been easy lately. There's bouts of long pauses & I find myself fixating on certain things & repeating them over and over. I don't think I make much of an interesting conversationalist online lately, so I just hide & don't even strike one up.

So. There's the explanation for my silence.

this week's CSA basket (a day late)

1 bunch of kale

2 bunches of greens (I'm not sure what they are... they look like broccoli leaves with lavender stems, but I'm pretty sure they're not chard)

1 pint basket of orange cherry tomatoes

1 pint basket lime basil

handful of Italian basil

1 onion the size of a grapefruit

1 head garlic

8 ears of sweet corn

lots of zucchini, yellow summer squash, patty pans

lots of cucumber (including this weird looking whitish-green one the size of my arm)

Coming soon: peppers, eggplants, full sized tomatoes, & bush beans should be ready within the next couple of weeks.
