fighting for air

I haven't been able to get enough air into my lungs this morning. The words is this what it feels like when you need an inhaler? keep popping into my head. I took a Claritin... we'll see if it helps at all.

a little better

The Claritin seems to have helped somewhat. I'm not used to these respiratory allergy things; will this be a warm-weather routine for me? I'm not fond of the idea of having to take medication every day.

ldyicefire, nexushoratio, and the Munchkin swam in the pool this afternoon, while I sat in a lawn chair & read some more of my book while sunning myself. I'm not a sun worshipper at all, but it's nice to sit in the warm sun & read.

Now to figure out what we're doing for dinner...
