~While I was visiting my parents over Thanksgiving, my mom bought me a blue fleece robe with a hood.
It says "Three's Company" and has a picture of 3 snowmen on it.
Considering that I'm in a triad (although she's unaware of this), I thought it was hilariously appropriate.

~I have a new drink that I like: Gerolsteiner Apple Schorle, an apple juice drink mixed with mineral water.
Here's what it looks like )

~I have begun the tedious task of addressing holiday cards. Yeesh.

~[livejournal.com profile] ldyicefire & I made out like bandits today. We went to the home of some friends for a "clothing exchange", but their definition of clothing exchange was, "We have too little space & too many clothes, we've picked out what we know we'll never wear again, please come over and take them away!" It was like shopping!

I won't list everything that we brought home, but here's some highlights: a Classic Pooh t-shirt, a set of embroidered salwar kameez and dupatta (which should be perfect for next year's Witches' Ball... the theme is The Silk Road), a white satin corset, a basic denim jacket, an Asian inspired padded coat, a pair of khakis that will be perfect for work, a twirly black skirt, and a cocktail glass patterned shirt (I seem to have a growing collection of them).

~Here's something that has me pretty excited:
I'M GOING TO SEE PETER GABRIEL!!

~I was going to make matzoh ball soup and latkes for dinner tomorrow night, but I had forgotten that I'm going with Nexus to his company's Christmas party. I suppose they'll be just fine for Friday night's dinner. :)

And speaking of matzoh ball soup...

~Tonight was the 1st time that I've ever eaten at Max's and not ordered their matzoh ball soup. Of course the only reason why I skipped it this time was because I was expecting to make it for dinner tomorrow night. However, I did order their reuben bites appetizer. I had forgotten how good they are!

~Should I be worried because there seems to be a LOT of commercials for bail bondsmen on TV lately?

That should do it. G'night!

yay!!

Now eating at Cracker Barrel can be guilt free!

Well, sorta guilt free... at least they've taken care of one possible reason that might make one feel guilty about eating in their restaurants.)

Cracker Barrel no longer discriminates against sexual orientation
