ldyicefire called last night from her parents' house

(wow... it feels weird saying that now, but saying "her dad's house" wouldn't feel right.)

I guess everyone there is doing as well as can be expected under the circumstances. I don't know yet what the arrangements are this week, I don't think they had gotten a chance to figure that out themselves. She's still torn as to whether or not we (Nexus, the Munchkin & me) should come out there, so I just reassured her again that if she wants us, we can be on the plane within hours, but if the best way to help her means that we stay here, we can do that too.

It feels somewhat wrong to me to be sitting here while she's on the other side of the country, going through the worst moments of her life, but I don't want to push her into a situation that's going to make her feel awkward either. I guess the important thing is that she knows that we care, and that we want to be there for her, and will be there for her, if that's what she needs.

It's going to be a long week.
