argh.

I have to be at work in less than 9 hours & I can't get to sleep. I've also been nursing a sore throat for a few days, so (taking a suggestion that Nexus made earlier) I've made myself a screwdriver, hoping to kill 2 birds with one stone. Screwdrivers tend to be one of our home remedies (for the adults, that is) for colds around here, plus it might help to make me drowsy. After I finish it, I'll probably go back to bed & try to read until I fall asleep.

Might I mention that it's weird reading The Stand when you're suffering from a sore throat & cold?

A side note: I got tired of the GothGirl mood icons, so I switched to the Neko's Kitties. They suit me for now. :)
