so... I'm home today

Today feels weird. I worked till midnight last night, and was having trouble unwinding when I got home. Managed to get that taken care of, but I was still up until after 3am, which meant that I slept in pretty late this morning. Nexus had a job interview today at 2pm, and he's still not back... I hope that means the interview went/is going well. He talked about doing the laundry after the interview, but the laundry's still here, so I know that's not why he isn't back yet.

ldyicefire won't be home until who-knows-when tonight. I actually won't get to see much of her at all this week, due to my work schedule & hers. :/

I'm not really sure of what to do with myself today. I'm kind of bored and lonely and not very energetic. I've watched some TV with the Munchkin, even though I know I could do something more productive, like playing with blocks with her, or going over one of her workbooks, or doing an art project with the fun foam shapes (maybe I'll do that one with her a little later). I had planned on doing some cooking for the rest of the week, but don't feel up to it today. I also have an article that I promised to write for noelfigart, and I haven't even started that yet.

I've got this rash on the underside of my left forearm that I think is from the brown paper bags at work. Either they've been giving me a zillion little papercuts or I'm developing a new allergy. Neither sounds like much fun.

Blah. Maybe I'll go make a risotto or something.
