No canning jars came with them, unfortunately. :( No matter, I think I have enough jars to manage.
Wondering what to do with them besides just packing them in a jar & processing them. I've found a recipe for tomato conserve, but I don't know how it turns out with Splenda as opposed to sugar. I have a small pressure cooker, so I could can some jars of spaghetti sauce (since it's usually a combination of low-acid foods and high-acid foods, it has to be processed with pressure canning unstead of just a hot water bath).
Maybe some ketchup. I do need some sugar-free ketchup, and I even have a recipe for it. Maybe even some chili sauce.
I need to dry some of them for
punkmom & her family, although I forgot to ask how many they wanted me to dry for them. I'll just make sure I do a decent amount. :)
Wish I had some more jars though. Anyone have any extra jars?
