this week's CSA basket

6 bunches fresh spinach

2 heads red leaf lettuce

2 heads butter lettuce

7 small zucchini (complete with blossoms!!)

2 yellow summer squash (with blossoms too!)

pint basket of lemon basil

pint basket of Italian large leaf basil

2 red onions

2 heads garlic

a bunch of those little new potatoes

I can't wait to flour & fry the squash blossoms! Their watermelon should be ready in a month. Their zucchini has just started to come in, so we'll be getting that for a while. This is their 2nd harvest of lettuce, so we're back to the smaller, more tender heads.
