I forgot my shower!
Jun. 18th, 2003 10:45 pmWhile looking through my e-mail tonight, I found a set of questions for the shower meme that
14cyclenotes asked me.
1) Three Stooges, or Marx Brothers? And why?
Probably the Three Stooges, simply because I've seen more of their stuff, but I'm still kind of fond of Groucho Marx.
2) You've said you don't fit the Pagan mold very well. What parts of you stick out?
I don't feel like it fits me very well because I don't have a well rooted faith... sometimes during the rituals, I feel as if I'm just going through the motions. Maybe I'll always feel that way, but I hope someday I'll find something that feels right.
3) What, if anything, have you told your family about polyamory?
I haven't really told them anything. The only member of my bio family who knows the score is
brightbluestuff, although other members of my bio family are starting to realize that I consider
nexushoratio and
ldyicefire to be my chosen family. I'm still pretty closetted when it comes to my parents & siblings.
4) Have you ever read a book that ended up feeling like a complete waste of your time? What book was it, if so? And why?
I can't think of a single book, actually. I guess I've been lucky.
5) Occasionally, for me, walking around in mainstream society feels like walking through a house with clear glass walls: I know they're there, but if I don't constantly remind myself of where they are I find that I'm likely to bump my nose. What wall is most likely to give you nose-bruises in daily life?
Every now & then, I forget that not everyone in the Bay Area is accepting or tolerant of gay/lesbian/bi/trans people. Then people remind me. :(
