I'm out of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon... is a Pinot Noir ok to use in spaghetti sauce? Or would that be a waste of a good wine?

Perhaps I should be asking, will

ldyicefire shoot me if I use her Pinot Noir in spaghetti sauce?
